Recipient verification for online transfers (Verification of Payee, VoP)

From October 9, 2025 at the latest, online transfers to the tax office will also be automatically reconciled between your payee details and the owner of the target account.

To avoid queries or misunderstandings, please always make your payments to your tax office in future using the recipient name "Finanzamt <Ort>". You will also find corresponding information under the note "Bank details" and the keyword "Bank transfer".

The citizen and consultant survey starts on October 01, 2025

Together with other federal states, Baden-Württemberg is conducting a uniform survey of citizens and consultants in the period from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026.
